More than 50 disabled people and people with severe health conditions have been deprived of basic support while living at a facilitiy housing asylum seekers in Tendring in Essex.
Basam Huzyene, who has diabetes and a serious heart condition, has been on hunger strike in protest at conditions at the site.
The facility is staffed by security guards but has no trained care workers or nurses, and residents do not have access to basic equipment like wheelchairs, or even to adequate food.
Please sign this open letter to Clearsprings Readyhomes to protest the failure to provide for people’s needs.
